Democratic Labour Federation of Cyprus (DEOK)

The Democratic Labour Federation of Cyprus (DEOK) provides supportive employment services to jobseekers through its district offices. Although it does not operate a formal job placement system, it functions effectively as an intermediary, making use of its officials’ and activists’ professional connections with employers in the private sector. In addition, DEOK offers information and guidance to individuals seeking employment in the public service or local government organizations.
